Ryan Miller will lookt to anchor Halmstad's backline in a game against second place Elfsborg while Ljungskile's Nick Noble and Angelholm's Matt Pyzdrowski will face each other in a battle between American goalkeepers

Halmstad BK - Elfsborg

Ryan Miller will start in defense for Halmstad BK on Sunday as the club host second place Elfsborg.

Halmstad have lost four straight while Elfsborg have soared to the top of the Allsvenskan standings having gone 9 - 2 - 1 in the club's last eleven league matches.

Halmstad will look to rebound from a particularly embarrassing 4 - 0 loss at the hands of AIK last weekend.

With just fourteen weeks left in the Allsvenskan season, Halmstad seem all but destined for relegation. Though they sit only seven points behind second-to-last place Mjällby AIF, Halmstad have won just a single match this season while Mjällby have won four.

Halmstad are already short handed for Sunday's match up missing Jonas Saevarsson and Tomas Zvirgzsauskas due to suspension while Elfsborg are without Andreas Klarström.

Ljungskile - Ängelholm FF

Nick Noble and Matt Pyzdrowski will both start on Saturday in a battle between American goalkeepers when Pyzdrowski's Ängelholm travel to take on Ljungskile in a rematch of last weekends Superettan match up.

Michael Thomas will also start in midfield for Ljungskile.

It was Thomas who had a goal wrongfully called back due to an errant offsides call last week. The decisions proved to be decisive as Ljungskile went on to tie Ängelholm 1 - 1 on the road in week 15, leaving a bitter taste in the mouths of Ljungskile supporters.

Both goalkeepers were very solid between the post and have been integral to their club's respective success this season. Pyzdrowski has lead his team to the top of the Superettan standings whle Noble has posted six shutouts on the year.

Ljugnskile will be without Andreas Karlsson due to an undisclosed injury.

Degerfors - GIF Sundsvall

Brian Edwards will start in goal for Degerfors as the club looks to avenge its 3 - 0 loss on the road against GIF Sunsvall in week 15 as the two clubs exchange home advantage in Sunday's rematch.

Last weeks loss dropped Degerfors from the Superettan top spot though the club is currently tied with Ängelholm on points.

Over halfway through the Superettan season, each remaining game will be crucial as a single point could be the difference between promotion or a Superettan title for Degerfors.

Sunsvall still have everything to play for as well, though the club currently sits in tenth place, they are just six points behind league leaders Ängelholm as well as their opponent on Sunday.

Sundsvall will be without stalwart defender Stefan Ålander due to suspension.

Neither club have reported any injuries at this time.

Alejandro Bedoya will miss Sunday's match up as Örebro take on GAIS after receiving a red card for dissent last weekend against Elfsborg.

Gale Agbossoumonde and Samuel Petrone will both likely make the bench for their respective clubs as Djurgården take on Mjällby AIF.
