One day after having their bid for midfielder Alejandro Bedoya turned down by Írebro, Scottish Premier League club Rangers have agreed to a three-year deal with the USMNT midfielder.

As of now, the terms of the contract won't have Bedoya joining the defending SPL champions until January as the deal is a precontract.

"The deal is a precontract for January. It is a three year deal subject to a work permit," agent Lyle Yorks told YA from Glasgow. "Everything has been agreed on personal terms. At this point [he would join in January]."

The work permit is obviously a major obstacle that lies ahead for Bedoya as he lacks the necessary caps to automatically qualify for the permit. He will therefore have to go through the appeals process and it is unclear yet when that process will take place.

Bedoya, 24, has spent his entire professional career with Orebro and has four goals in 11 games so far this season.
