PREVIEW: WEEKEND SWEDISH ACTION
Alejandro Bedoya is a question mark for Örebro as they try to recover from Europa League disappointment while Ryan Miller and Halmstad are in desperate need of a win as relegation inches closer.
Örebro - Norrköping
Örebro Head coach Sixten Boström has yet to disclose whether or not Alejandro Bedoya will be in the lineup on Sunday when they host Norrköping.
Bedoya did not fly with Örebro to take on Sarajevo of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Premier Liga in Thursday's second round Europa League qualifier due to an ankle sprain. Örebro lost the match 2-0 and were eliminated from the competition.
In the time since, the American has confirmed his move to Scottish club Rangers, however as it is not scheduled to take place until January, he is expected to play out the rest of the season with Örebro.
Örebro have not won a league match since April 24th, and the near three month skid has left them in the bottom half of the standings, far removed from their third place finish just a season ago.
The team will be without starting 23-year-old central midfielder Valdet Rama due to suspension.
IFK Göteborg - Halmstad BK
Ryan Miller will start in defense for Halmstad BK as the club travels to take on IFK Göteborg.
Halmstad are running out of time if they wish to compete in Sweden's top flight next season, they must put yet another closely contested home loss in the rear-view mirror if they are to win their first match on the road Monday night.
Göteborg have won two of their last three games and are currently in 9th place.
Neither club have reported any injuries at this time.
Ängelholm - Brage
Matt Pyzdrowski will start in goal for Allsvenskan league leaders Ängelholm FF Sunday afternoon when they host a struggling Brage.
Ängelholm will look to continue their eight match unbeaten streak that has carried them to the top of the standings, while Brage have struggled in recent weeks having surrendered eight goals in their last two losses.
Ängelholm defeated Brage 4-1 in the two club's first meeting in Borlänge back in April.
Both Bernhard Nyström and Micahel Dalgren of Brage and Ängelholm respectively are suspended on yellow cards, other than that both squads have a full list of players at their disposal.
Degerfors - Qviding FIF
Brian Edwards and Degerfors host Qviding FIF at the Stora Valla Stadium on Saturday as Degerfors continue to chase league leaders Ängelholm in pursuit of the Superettan title.
Despite two straight losses, most recently a 2-0 defeat at home GIF Sundsvall to last Saturday, Degerfors remain third in the Superettan standings tied on points with Åtvidaberg.
Degerfors would do terrible to drop the home points on Monday as Qviding are currently dead last in the standings.
Degerfors are without starting midfielder Niklas Klingberg.
Neither club have reported any injuries.
Michael Thomas is suspended for Ljungskile's match on the road at Falkenberg.
