PREVIEW: MIDWEEK FINNISH ACTION
Etchu Tabe and RoPS look to finish the final stretch of the season on a positive note while Mason Trafford and IFK Mariehamn hope to get back to winning ways as they take on VPS.
Haka - RoPS
Etchu Tabe and RoPS look for a win against Haka in Veikkausliiga action Thursday.
Tabe started and went the distance in RoPS' last game and should get the start once again.
RoPS is currently in last place and facing relegation unless they muster up a miracle run in the last five games of the season. A win this Thursday will be a good start for a team that has only won one game since June.
Haka are not doing much better, as they are winless in their last five games. They are in seventh place in the standings but have no real threat of falling into the relegation zone.
Eetu Muinonen looks to miss due to injury for RoPS.
Haka will miss Jarno Mattila and Saku Pesonen because of injuries as well.
VPS - IFK Mariehamn
Mason Trafford and IFK Mariehamn look to get back to winning ways as they take on VPS.
Trafford started and went the distance in Mariehamn's loss to HJK last week. He should start once again, while Josh Wicks is likely not to feature. VPS' Guiseppe Funicello has not made his debut yet for VPS and will likely not feature as well.
Mariehamn have currently lost three games in a row and are tumbling down the Veikkausliiga standings. They are now in 9th place and will look to reverse their luck in the final games.
VPS are coming off a win over Jaro, but are still struggling in general. They are in 11th place, but still a comfortable ten points free of the relegation zone.
Aleksei Kangaskolkka, Ekhiabhi Okodugha, Mikko Paatelainen, Markus Paatelainen, and Fernando de Abreu are all questionable due to injury for Mariehamn.
