PREVIEW: MIDWEEK FINNISH ACTION
JOHN KRETLOW - Monday, October 24, 2011
Mason Trafford and Josh Wicks hope to help IFK Mariehamn as they look to spoil JJK's promotion aspirations whileEtchu Tabe and RoPS take on Veikkausliiga champion HJK.

JJK - IFK Mariehamn

Mason Traford and Josh Wicks look to help IFK Mariehamn as they take on JJK in Veikkausliiga action.

Trafford and Wicks both featured in Mariehamn's weekend win over Inter Turku. Both are likely to feature against JJK.

Mariehamn are in no danger of relegation and are out of the promotion race. They look to finish their season though on a high note and at the same time spoil JJK's season this midweek.

JJK are currently in fourth place and trail Honka by only goal differential for the last Europa League spot. Wednesday's game is crucial for JJK's shot at European glory.

Mariehamn's Aleksei Kangaskolkka, Ekhiabhi Okodugha, Mikko Paatelainen, and Markus Paatelainen are all questionable to feature due to injury.

RoPS - HJK

Etchu Tabe and RoPS take on Veikkausliiga champions HJK on Wednesday.

Tabe started and went the distance in RoPS' loss to KuPS this weekend. He is likely to feature this midweek.

RoPS are officially relegated, but a win against HJK would add some needed momentum for a team heading into the Ykkönen.

HJK wrapped up the championship weeks ago and will likely play an experimental lineup against RoPS. The Championship side will play in Champions League Qualifiers next year.

Eetu Muinonen looks to miss for RoPS because of injury.

Guiseppi Funicello and VPS take on MYPA.
