RECAP: AC MILAN 4 - 0 CHIEVO VERONA
SCOTT PETERSON - Monday, November 28, 2011
Michael Bradley and Chievo Verona were dispatched in style by AC Milan at the San Siro on Sunday, in a game where one outspoken Swedish striker cracked the century mark in Serie A.

Bradley took his usual spot on the field starting in front of the Flying Donkey's back line, and it didn't take long for Bradley and Co. to see what Milan had in store.

Milan needed less than 60 seconds come close to scoring, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic's bomb from 27 yards out came crashing down to rattle the Chievo woodwork.

In the eighth minute, Thiago Silva turned Milan's dominance into a lead as the Brazilian beat Chievo's keeper Stefano Sorrentino from just outside the box with a right-footed blast.

Four minutes later, the guests had a great chance to grab a quick equalizer, as Bradley's short free kick was chipped one-time onto Sergio Pellissier, but Milan keeper Marco Ameila came off his line to successfully cut down the angle.

Then in the 16th minute, the Rossoneri faithful had more to cheer about than just a two-goal lead for their team, as Ibrahimovic s incredible chip over two defenders, past Sorrentino, was the Swede's 100th goal in the Serie A.

Three minutes past the half-hour, Brazilian striker Pato profited from a deflected shot that sent the keeper to the ground while the ball landed right at the striker's feet 4 yards out allowing him to easily double their lead.

A few minutes later, Bradley had Chievo's best chance of the first half, but his volley skidded just wide of the far post.

Moments before the halftime break, Pato beat his defender and pulled away in the box until he was dragged down for a penalty. Ibrahimovic took and converted the spot kick to close the first half and all the scoring.

The second half was void of suspense and, save one Ibrahimovic striker that crashed against the crossbar, void of any real chances.

Chievo and Bradley will hope to put this one behind them as quickly as possible and get ready for next week's important match against Atalanta.
