PREVIEW: WEEKEND ISRAELI ACTION
Bryan Gerzicich and league leading Kiryat Shmona travel to Sar-Tov Stadium on Saturday to try avenge their only loss of the season as they take on fellow American Leo Krupnik and ninth place Maccabi Netanya.
Maccabi Netanya - Kiryat Shmona
The tiny club of Hapoel Kiryat Shmona will look to continue their dream season on Saturday when they visit Maccabi Netanya.
Los Angeles native Bryan Gerzicich will start for Kiryat Shmona in his usual defensive midfield position while Leo Krupnik will hope to regain his starting spot in central defense for Maccabi Netanya.
Kiryat Shmona was not given much of a chance to win the Israeli Premier League at the start of the season but they have proven everyone wrong. They have lost only one game on the year and that came on August 27 at the hands of Maccabi Netanya.
Since then, they have proven to be the team to beat as they have opened up a four point lead in the standings as the league enters into the second half of the season.
Maccabi Netanya have seen their season head in the opposite direction as they have not won in their last four games to tumble to ninth place.
Neither club are reporting any injuries at this time.
New Jersey native Ryan Adeleye will aim to regain his starting spot with Hapoel Be'er Sheva as they host Bnei Sakhnin on Saturday.
