US national team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has added Schalke midfielder Jermaine Jones to the US national team roster for the upcoming games against Venezuela and Panama.

Jones, 30, is currently serving a long eight week suspension in Germany for stomping on Marco Reus in a 3-1 loss to Borussia Moenchengladbach in December. He won't be available to play for his club until March.

Jones has since apologized to Reus for his actions.

Due to the suspension, Jones will now look to get back into the fold with the US national team. Since Klinsmann was hired in August, Jones has only made one start for the US national team.

The US national team will face Venezuela on January 21 in Phoenix, Arizona and then travel to Panama City to face Panama on January 25.
