Bryan Gerzicich and Kiryat Shmona will look to keep a firm grip on first place in the Israeli Premier League on Sunday when they host perennial powers Maccabi Haifa.

Kiryat Shmona - Maccabi Haifa

Carrying a 10 point lead into Sunday's game, Kiryat Shmona will look maintain their commanding lead when they host the defending champions Maccabi Haifa on Sunday at Kiryat Shmona Municipal Stadium.

Los Angeles Bryan Gerzicich will start in central midfield Kiryat Shmona,

Kiryat Shmona will likely have a bitter taste in their mouth from last week after they conceded a late equalizer on the road against Maccabi Tel Aviv. For the last 25 minutes, Kiryat Shmona defended well after they went down a man but they were unable to secure all three points.

For Maccabi Haifa, it has been an off year by their standards but they have won their last two games and will be looking to move up the standings.

In the last meeting between the teams, Kiryat Shmona cruised to a 3-0 win where Gerzicich was among the goal scorers.

Kiryat Shmona will be without David Solari who will miss the game after earning a red card last weekend.

Ryan Adeleye will hope to begin the game on the bench for Hapoel Be'er Sheva when they host Maccabi Netanya. Former University of California standout Leo Krupnik will aim to return to the lineup for Netanya.
