Brad Friedel and Tottenham Hotspur look to get back to winning ways against Stoke City, while Everton hosts Arsenal at Goodison Park.

Tottenham Hotspur - Stoke City

Brad Friedel and Tottenham Hotspur host Stoke City in Wednesday Premier League action.

Friedel is a regular starter for Spurs and should be in the lineup once again.

Tottenham goes into the game having lost three league games in a row. The losing streak has severly dented Spurs title chances and now Arsenal trail them by just one point for the automatic Champions League spot.

Stoke is coming off a loss in the FA Cup against Liverpool, but they hope they can reverse that result in league play.

Ricardo Fuller looks to miss for Stoke because of suspension.

Everton - Arsenal

Tim Howard and Everton take on Arsenal at Goodison Park on Wednesday.

Howard should be in the Toffees starting lineup.

Everton tied Sunderland this last weekend in FA Cup play, meaning they will have a replay. In league play, Everton is in 10th place and has lost just once in their last 10 games in all competitions.

Arsenal trails Tottenham by just one point for an automatic Champions League spot. They have won five games in a row in league play and hope to continue their hot streak.

Abou Diaby, Jack Wilshere, and Francis Coquelin look to miss for the Gunners.

Darron Gibson will miss for the Toffees.

Carlisle United - Preston North End

Frank Simek and Carlisle United take on Preston North End at home in League One action.

Simek is a regular starter for the Cumbrians and should be in the lineup once again on Tuesday.

Carlisle tied AFC Bournemouth at the weekend but they hope for three points this midweek. They trail Notts County by just goal differential for the last playoff spot in League One.

Preston is in 14th place in the standings and has only won once in their last 7 games. That one win though came this last weekend against Exeter City.

Rory Loy, Paul Thirlwell, and Mat Robson are expected to miss for Carlisle.

Eric Lichaj, Brad Guzan, and Aston Villa were supposed to play Tim Ream's Bolton on Tuesday but the game has been called off by the Premier League.

Daniel Potts is not likely to feature in West Ham United's game against Middlesbrough.

Jonathan Spector is injured and will not play in Birmingham City's game against Porstmouth.

Robbie Rogers hopes to feature in Leeds United's game against Robbie Findley's Nottingham Forest.

Conor Doyle is injured and won't play for Derby County's against Brighton & Hove Albion.
