PREVIEW: WEEKEND NORWEGIAN ACTION
Ricardo Clark, Sean Cunningham and Stabæk will look turn things around against fellow bottom feeders Sandnes Ulf, while Steve Clark, Kenneth di Vita Jensen and Hønefoss seek to stay unbeaten this season.
Sandnes Ulf - Stabæk IF
In a matchup of the bottom two teams in the Tippeligaen, Sandnes Ulf and Stabæk will be hoping to record their first win of the season Sunday night.
Americans Ricardo Clark and Sean Cunningham should start for Stabæk at central midfielder and central defender, respectively.
After an off-season that included financial difficulties, Stabæk has collected only one point and are currently riding a three-game losing streak. Meanwhile, Sandnes Ulf has drawn twice in its first four games after being promoted to the Tippeligaen.
Sandnes will be without central defender Edier Frejd, who picked up a red card in Monday's 3-1 loss to league-leaders Tromsø, and could be without Ronny Espedel, another central defender who injured his ankle during the week.
Stabæk is not reporting injuries at this time.
Hønefoss BK - Aalesund
Hønefoss looks to continue its unbeaten streak upon return to the Tippeligaen when Hønefoss face Aalesund Sunday.
American goalkeeper Steve Clark will start in between the sticks for Hønefoss, while teammate and American forward Kenneth di Vita Jensen will look to make the bench.
Clark has been a big reason Hønefoss has enjoyed a good start to life in the Tippeligaen. He has allowed one goal in four games and has recorded three shutouts.
Aelsund will be without forward Kjell Rune Sellin; Hønefoss is not reporting injuries at this time.
American winger Josh Gatt will not play for the second week in a row, as Molde face Lillestrøm on Monday. Gatt is hampered by a muscle injury.
In the Adeccoligaen, American left back Sebastian Troupe and Bærum return to action Sunday night at Alta, after last weekend's game against Rhett Bernstein and Mjøndalen was postponed.
Rhett Bernstein should start in defense for Mjøndalen, as his team takes on Ullensaker/Kisa.
