RECAP: CHIEVO VERONA 0 - 0 UDINESE CALCIO
Michael Bradley picked up a point against Udinese on Saturday in front of their home fans as they kept alive their slim hopes for Europe.
Bradley manned the midfield for Mimmo di Carlo and Chievo, and had the game's first good chance after six minutes of play.
Bradley started a nice movement down the left flank and nearly capped it off with a spectacular finish, but his long-range shot rattled off the post after beating Udinese keeper Samir Handanovic.
Chievo was handed a penalty in the 43rd minute, but Cyril Thereau's penalty was poorly taken and subsequently kept out by Handanovic.
Udinese's best chance at a goal came in the 54th minute, when Antonio di Natale danced through the defense to create a wide-open shot on goal, but failed to hit the target.
With the point, Chievo and Bradley are in ninth place, six points back of Inter for the last Europa League spot with five games remaining. Up next is a Tuesday night match against Atalanta.
