Jurgen Klinsmann has selected 23 players to travel with the team during their string of games this summer, cutting four from the Orlando camp.

The announcement came this morning as the team prepared to make the two hour drive north to Jacksonville to face Scotland for their first game since beating Italy 1-0 in Genoa this past February. Klinsmann initially called 16 players into camp on May 15, followed by 11 more on May 20.

As usual, there was a mixture of players from MLS, Mexico and Europe, though there were several notable absences; Sacha Kljestan was not selected for camp despite recently winning the Belgian Jupiler League, and Eric Lichaj was not selected despite being a 90-minute man for Aston Villa and one of the few experienced left back options after Timothy Chandler declined the invitation.

The 23 players Klinsmann has selected make up a deep central midfield and strong attacking unit. There are no surprises in the defense and the flanks have few reserve options, as has been Klinsmann's tendency since taking over from Bob Bradley.

Juan Agudelo, Alfredo Morales, Danny Williams and Graham Zusi were the four players not selected to travel.
