American defender Ryan Miller went the distance for Halmstad as they lost on the road to Brage, ending the club.s ten-game unbeaten streak.

In the 27th minute, Vyacheslav Jevtushenko played a short corner to Johan Persson whose return pass was curled in by the Ukrainian to the toward the back post. Andi Toompuu beat Christian Jardler and nodded past Kalle Johnsson into the upper right corner to give the hosts the lead.

Halmstad were given life at the beginning of the second half when Mikael Boman was pulled down in the penalty box and awarded a spot kick. Antonio Rojas stepped up to take the chance and buried it to the left of keeper Patrik Carlgren to knot the match in the 47th minute.

Brage were able to take the game's ultimate lead with Jardler proving the goat once again. Having been victimized for the opening goal, the 30-year old was whistled for a handled ball in the area in the 83rd minute. Dragan Kapcevic and slotted smoothly past an outstretched Johnsson to give Brage the three points.

Though a disappointing result, Halmstad remain in third place in the Superettan.

They hope to reverse their fortunes next weekend when they face Falkenberg while Brage look to continue their winning ways against Varnamo on Monday.
