PREVIEW: WEEKEND SWEDISH ACTION
Alejandro Bedoya hopes his injury is not serious enough to keep him off the field for Helsingborg this weekend while Patrick Hopkins will anchor Ljungskile's defense against Falkenberg.
Falkenberg FF - Ljungskile SK
Patrick Hopkins will start in central defense for Ljungskile when they travel to take on Falkenberg Sunday.
LSK have been impressive of late, picking up seven points from their last three games. Currently they are fifth in the league after 26 games. However, with only four left to play it's all but certain they will be participating in the Superettan next season.
Hopkins has been a focal point of the team's defense this year, starting every game and the whole 90 minutes in all but two.
Falkenberg's situation is a bit dicier than Ljungskile, and they are only four points clear of the drop zone, they will certainly be playing inspired at home.
Neither team are reporting any injuries for the game, but Falkenberg will be without goal scoring midfielder Viktor Skold due to yellow card accumulation.
Alejandro Bedoya was injured and forced to leave Helsingborg's 2-2 draw against FC Twente in Europa League on Thursday. His status for this weekend's visit to Mjällby is uncertain.
Brian Span was injured in Djurgarden's game last weekend and will be out several week to recover, beginning with this weekend's home game against Kalmar FF.
Ryan Miller and Hamlstads BK will look to keep hold of their promotion spot on Monday night when they pay a visit to Varbergs BOIS FC.
