INJURY FORCES CASTILLO WITHDRAWAL
BRIAN SCIARETTA - Wednesday, October 10, 2012
The USA has taken yet another blow as Club Tijuana left back Edgar Castillo has suffered a foot injury and will be out for two weeks.

Yesterday it was announced that midfielders Landon Donovan and Brek Shea would not take part in the upcoming qualifiers for the US team. Now Castillo is the third player to withdraw from camp.

In addition to the US games, Castillo could miss games for Tijuana after the international break. Last weekend, the surging Xolos took over first place in Liga MX.

Without Castillo, it could force US head coach Jurgen Klinsmann's hand into calling additional players for the upcoming qualifiers against Antigua on October 12 and Guatemala on October 16.
