PREVIEW: WEEKEND ISRAELI ACTION
Bryan Gerzicich and defending champions Kiryat Shmona attempt to get in back the win column while Leo Krupnik and Maccabi Netanya visit Hapoel Ramat Gan.
Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Schmona vs Ashdod
After going winless in five matches (three league, two Champions League), Bryan Gerzicich and Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Schmona look to get back on track while visiting current season league leader's Ashdod.
Ashdod, who is trying to maintain their undefeated home record, will be looking to capitalize on a potentially rusty Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Schmona team, who last played October 4th.
Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Schmona has not won away from home since September 1st and will face an uphill battle versus a team tied atop the Israeli League. Ashdod has won four of their last five matches.
Defender Salah Hasarma (groin) and midfielder Dan Einbinder (ankle) are questionable for Kiryat Shmona
Maccabi Netanya vs Hapoel Ramat Gan
Currently sitting in eighth place, Leonard Krupnik and Maccabi Netanya look to bounce back after giving up six goals in two losses as they travel to Hapoel Ramat Gan.
Hapoel Ramat Gan are currently in 10th position and are looking to use their home advantage to leapfrog Netanya in the standings.
In a developing story, Netanya may be without starting striker Ahmed Saba for allegedly being involved in a brawl while attending a lower division match this week. The incident is being investigated by the Israeli Federation and Netanya's upper management. Saba may be suspended for Saturday's match and could even face criminal charges.
Ryan Adeleye will hope to make his first appearance of the season as ninth place Hapoel Be'er Sheva visit Hapoel Haifa. Adeleye has been an unused substitute three times but has yet to see any match action.
