With the rest of the gringos out action, it's up to Club Tijuana's Three Amigos-Edgar Castillo, Joe Corona and Greg Garza-to carry Old Glory into the Liga MX playoffs.

The spectacular rise of Club Tijuana has been the buzz of the Liga MX, especially this season, when they nearly missed out on finishing in first place by one point.

Americans Castillo, Corona and Garza have proven their worth to the Xoloitzcuintles and, being interchangeable, are sure to see plenty of action during the playoffs.

As you might expect, Club Tijuana boasts a well-balanced, industrious team and are led on offense by Colombian striker Duvier Riascos, who scored one-third of his team's goals with eight. The Xolos only lost one game (4-0 to León in week 2), were undefeated at home, all the while allowing only 15 goals in 17 games.

Meanwhile, Monterrey limped to the finish line, winning only one of their last eight games, while losing three. Still, they were never really overwhelmed in any of their losses this season; losing by more than one goal just once (2-0 to León in week 10). They might not have what it takes to beat the Xolos but will make them work hard to earn their passage into the next round.
