Clint Dempsey and Tottenham look to keep their momentum going with a win against Liverpool, while Tim Howard and Everton play a crucial match against Arsenal.

Aston Villa - Reading

Brad Guzan and Eric Lichaj are expected to feature in Aston Villa's midweek home match against Reading.

Villa drew with Arsenal at home this weekend, but they have gone winless in three games. They are in the relegation zone and need three points on Tuesday.

Reading is also having a difficult season thus far. They are in the relegation zone and trail Villa by a point in the standings. The winner of this game could jump out of the drop zone.

Dating back to 2008, Villa has won the last three games in this series and look to continue that streak on Tuesday.

Joe Bennett, Gary Gardner, Chris Herd, Charles N'Zogbia, and Richard Dunne are sidelined for Villa, while Alex McCarthy, Danny Guthrie, and Jem Karacan look to miss for Reading.

Stoke City - Newcastle United

Geoff Cameron looks to start in Stoke City's game against Newcastle United at the Britannia Stadium. Over the

Maurice Edu is not likely to be in the matchday 18 for the Potters.

Stoke is currently playing the best soccer of their season. They have gone unbeaten in the last three weeks, including a win over Fulham this weekend.

Newcastle is having a tough time of late, as they have gone winless in their last six games. They are just four points above the relegation zone and will need three points on Wednesday.

Rory Delap and Marc Wilson are injury worries for Stoke, while Hatem Ben Arfa, Sammy Ameobi, and Yohan Cabaye will be sidelined for Newcastle.

Tottenham Hotspur - Liverpool

Clint Dempsey is expected to feature in Tottenham's clash with Liverpool at White Hart Lane.

Hugo Lloris has been playing at goal of late for Spurs and is likely to play in place of Brad Friedel.

Spurs are coming off an important win over West Ham United this weekend. The victory broke a three game losing streak and hopefully will give the team momentum.

The Reds are currently in the middle of the standings and will be gunning to make their way up the table. They have not lost since September, though the majority of the games have ended in draws. Liverpool will look for the three points on Wednesday.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Scott Parker look to miss due to injury for Spurs, while Lucas Leiva, Fabio Borini, and Martin Kelly will be sidelined for the Reds.

Everton - Arsenal

Tim Howard looks to start in Everton's home game against Arsenal at Goodison Park.

The Toffees are coming off a draw against Norwich City this last weekend. They have only won one game in their last seven and will need to start winning games if they want to stay in the Premier League's elite.

Arsenal trails Everton by just a point and go into the game with some momentum. They have only lost one game in their last five in league play and will be going for the three points on Wednesday.

Kevin Mirallas and Phil Neville are injury scratches for the Toffees, while André Santos, Abou Diaby, Tomas Rosický, and Lucasz Fabiański look to miss for the Gunners.

Middlesbrough - Huddersfield Town

Seb Hines is expected to feature in Middlsbrough's game against Huddersfield Town in Championship action.

Boro is coming off two straight losses and will need a win on Tuesday to keep their promotion playoff spot.

Huddersfield is just four points from Boro and can make a big jump on the standings with a win. They have lost only one game in their last five and look to keep that momentum going on Tuesday.

Julio Arca will miss for Boro.

Leeds United - Leicester City

Zak Whitbread looks to start in Leicester City's game against Leeds United.

The Foxes are on a two game winning streak and have scored eight goals and conceded none in that span. They look to keep that momentum going and jump into an automatic promotion position.

Leeds won their first game last week after going four games winless. They are currently in 16th place and look to make their way up the standings with a win on Tuesday.

Sean St Ledger and Michael Keane are injury concerns for Leicester City.

Blackpool - Birmingham City

Jonathan Spector and Birmingham City travel to take on Blackpool.

US U-20 defender Will Packwood is not expected to feature for the Blues.

Birmingham City is currently just five points above the relegation zone and have only won one game in their last five. They will be gunning for three points on Tuesday to separate themselves from the drop zone.

Blackpool is on a four game unbeaten streak, but three of those games were draws. They look for three points and to improve on their 14th place standing in the Championship.
