Earlier this year Robbie Rogers moved from MLS to England to play for Leeds United but the two have now parted ways by mutual consent.

"Robbie has left Leeds United," agent Shaun Higgins confirmed to YA on Tuesday.

Rogers, 25, had a difficult start at Leeds United suffering various injuries and setbacks. At the start of the 2012/13 season, he was loaned to League One (third tier) club Stevenage but struggled for playing time there.

Now a free agent, it is unclear whether or not the California native will stay in Europe or will elect to return to MLS. From 2007-2011 Rogers played for the Columbus Crew. He had his best season in 2008 where he won the MLS Cup and Supporters Shield with Columbus and was named to the league's Best Eleven.
