Carlos Bocanegra and Racing Santander welcome eighth place Córdoba to the coast on Saturday.

Last place Racing has their back up against the wall and must turn things around if they are going to avoid relegation for the second straight season. They've only won once in their last ten matches going back to early November.

Córdoba, however, have been much more consistent as of late and are coming off a 5-0 thrashing of Real Murcia and have not lost in over a month. They're lead by forward Vincenzo Rennella, who leads the team with six goals this season.

If the Highlanders are going to get a win this weekend, they're going to have to do it shorthanded. They're missing Gai Assulin and Gonzalo Herrero to injury, Oscar Perez to red cards and Hameur Bouazza to the African Cup of Nations, where he is representing Algeria.

Additionally, Hector Yuste broke a bone in his right hand this week in training but remains a Manager's decision to play on Saturday.

Córdoba welcomes new signing 18 year old Paulinho, who compared himself to Messi in his press conference, may make his first start for his new club this weekend.

Oguchi Onyewu and Málaga visit 19th place Mallorca on Sunday.
