PREVIEW: WEEKEND ENGLISH ACTION
Geoff Cameron, Brek Shea, and Stoke City take on Arsenal at the Emirates, while Tim Howard and Everton welcome Brad Guzan, Eric Lichaj, and Aston Villa to Goodison Park.
Arsenal - Stoke City
Geoff Cameron and Stoke City travel to London to take on Arsenal in league action.
Brek Shea signed with Stoke City on Thursday but is not expected to take part in Saturday's game. Cameron is likely to feature in the Potters backline.
Stoke is coming off a tough midweek draw, where they gave up a two goal lead to Wigan. They have not won a game since their Boxing Day victory over Liverpool and look to have a strong performance at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.
Arsenal has won just one league game in their last five and are currently sixth in the standings. They trail Tottenham for the last Champions League spot by four points and will be gunning for victory on Saturday.
The Potters will miss Marc Wilson due to injury.
Everton - Aston Villa
Tim Howard's Everton hosts Brad Guzan, Eric Lichaj, and Aston Villa at Goodison Park.
The Toffees go into this weekend's match on a four game Premier League unbeaten run. They beat West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday and look to improve on their fifth place standing with another victory on Saturday.
Villa has not won a league game since mid December when they beat Liverpool. They are on a seven game winless skid and hope to break that streak with a victory over Everton.
Marc Albrighton, Richard Dunne, Gary Gardner, and Chris Herd will be sidelined for Villa, while Tony Hibbert and Seamus Coleman look to miss for the Toffees.
West Bromwich Albion - Tottenham Hotspur
Clint Dempsey is expected to feature in Tottenham's road test against West Bromwich Albion.
Spurs have drawn their last three league games and need to start garnering victories if they want to keep up with Chelsea who lead them by four points for third place. They drew with Norwich City in the midweek.
West Brom started the season strong, but have gone seven games winless in all competitions of late. They lost to West Brom in the midweek and look to bounce back on Sunday.
Tom Huddlestone, Younes Kaboul, and Sandro look to miss for Spurs.
Watford - Bolton Wanderers
Tim Ream, Stuart Holden, and Bolton take the road to play Watford at Carrow Road.
Ream is expected to feature, while Holden could make the game day roster.
Bolton has won just once in their last six league games. They are currently just four points above the relegation zone and are in desperate need of three points.
The Hornets are in a playoff spot, but they are coming off a loss to Bristol City. A win could put them within one point of an automatic promotion position.
Tommie Hoban looks to miss for Watford.
Ipswich Town - Middlesbrough
Seb Hines and Middlesbrough take on Ipswich Town in Championship action.
Boro is on a three game league losing streak and are now holding on to the last playoff spot. They look for a win this weekend to help solidify their playoff position.
Town is just four points above the relegation zone and are on a four game winless skid in league play. They look to break their skid with a home victory on Saturday.
Tranmere Rovers - Carlisle United
Frank Simek and Carlisle United take on League One leaders Tranmere Rovers on the road.
The Cumbrians are currently seven points above the relegation zone and are in need of a victory to give themselves a better cushion.
Tranmere leads League One but just by goal differential over Doncaster Rovers. Their play has been inconsistent of late, but a win this weekend could put them back to playing strong soccer.
Conor Doyle hopes to make the game day roster in Derby County's game against Huddersfield Town.
Jonathan Spector and Will Packwood are out injured and will not feature in Birmingham City's game against Nottingham Forest.
Mike Grella hopes to feature in Scunthorpe United's game against Crewe Alexandra.
