PREVIEW: WEEKEND ENGLISH ACTION
Tim Howard looks to help Everton reach the next round in the FA Cup with a win over Oldham, while Tim Ream and Stuart Holden hope to feature in Bolton's match with Nottingham Forest.
Oldham Athletic - Everton
Tim Howard could play part in Everton's fifth-round match against League One's Oldham Athletic.
Howard is likely to play, though manager David Moyes could give his starting ‘keeper a rest.
The Toffees are coming off a loss to Manchester United last weekend, but it was their first loss since late December. Everton beat Bolton to get to this match.
Oldham has won two out of their last three games but still find themselves in the drop zone of League One. The bright spot of their season, though, has been the FA Cup, as they took down Premier League side Liverpool in the last round.
The last time these teams played was in 2008 at Goodison Park, when Oldham took down Everton in FA Cup play.
Tony Hibbert and Seamus Coleman are injury worries for the Toffees.
Nottingham Forest - Bolton Wanderers
Tim Ream, Stuart Holden and Bolton take on a reeling Nottingham Forest team.
Ream is likely to see time, and Stuart Holden possibly could see his first league action since coming back from injury. Holden has featured in various reserve team games for Bolton.
Bolton is coming off a win over Burnley in league play. They had gone three games winless prior to that match, and they find themselves just three points above the relegation zone.
Forest has lost three straight games and has just scored one goal in that span. They are in thirteenth place and ahead of Bolton by just four points. Forest looks to take advantage of playing at home and garner three points.
With no new injuries, Bolton looks to keep the same team from last week, though David Ngog could see the starting lineup.
Portsmouth - Carlisle United
Frank Simek looks to start in Carlisle United's game against Portsmouth.
The Cumbrians are coming off a loss to Scunthorpe United in the midweek, and they look for a bounce-back performance this weekend.
Carlisle is currently nine points above the relegation zone. A win, though, could help solidify their League One place for next season.
Portsmouth is having a difficult season. They are in the drop zone and nine points from safety. The home fans will be hoping for their first win since last October.
Chris Chantler will miss for the Cumbrians.
Jonathan Spector, Will Packwood and Birmingham City take on Watford, but both Americans will miss because of injuries.
Conor Doyle hopes to make the game day roster in Derby County's game against Wolverhampton.
Seb Hines hopes to return to action in Middlesbrough's game against Crystal Palace.
Mike Grella could see time in Scunthorpe United's game against Yeovil Town.
Jon Paul Pittman and Oxford United take on Plymouth Argyle.
Georgia teenager Duane Holmes is hopeful to make the bench on Sunday when Huddesfield take on Wigan.
