PREVIEW: WEEKEND ISRAELI ACTION
Bryan Gerzicich and Ironi Kiryat Shmona will travel to Hapoel Ramat HaSharon on Saturday for their last road trip of the season.
The Blue Lions will need another standout performance from Dan Einbender, who scored both goals last week after returning from injury to ensure the defending champions an important win over Bnei Yehuda.
Ramat HaSharon, on the other hand, will be looking for their third straight win in an attempt to avoid relegation and are led by David Manga, who leads the team with 10 goals this season.
The teams last met February 9th when Kiryat Shmona dismantled HaSharon at home 3-1. HaSharon has not lost since and have risen out of the relegation zone for the time being.
Only two matches remain in the Israeli regular season and the defending champions will certainly watch Ashdod and Hapoel Tel Aviv immediately following their own game on Saturday. Tel Aviv currently are three points ahead of Kiryat Shmona in third place with 40 points.
Leo Krupnik is not expected to play as Maccabi Netanya face Beitar Jerusalem.
Ryan Adeleye and Hapel Ashkelon visit Maccabi Herzliya on Friday.
